Atlanta-based Appforge suddenly shut its doors without warning on March 15th. COMMZGATE represents Appforge for a number of countries in South-Asia including Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Here’s a report by UK’s ‘The Register’ on Appforge’s sudden demise.
The sudden closure left all Appforge distributors and partners dumbfounded, with many end-customers left in the lurch with licenses that stopped working with no way to re-enable them.

IDA releases Proposed Code of Practice for Premium SMS Services
Published May 26th, 2007 in Industry News. 1 CommentIDA has released new draft guidelines for Premium SMS Content Providers in Singapore. A copy of the draft Code IDA is looking to introduce can be found HERE
The proposed measures looks all for the positive development of the premium content market in Singapore, and should be able weed out some of the rouge service providers giving this industry a bad name.
